Current Position - Business Development Executive

Summary

Working under the supervision of the Director of Sales, this position is responsible for securing new business partners, development and implementation of strategic alliances, channel partners, new market verticals and involved in networking associations. Once new business has been won, the Business Development Executive will work with other department heads and Frontera’s staff to coordinate account startup and make sure the transition of service is properly handed over to the Account Manager, which is Frontera’s main account contact for the practice.
                                         
This position requires a high energy individual that is assertive, outgoing and socially oriented.  The candidate must have a positive attitude, internal drive and can build long- lasting relationships.  The Business Development Executive needs to be a self-starter and possess a strong desire to succeed and driven with a constant desire to earn a high income.  The ability to understand a sales process from beginning to end of the life cycle is a must as well as an understanding of solution based selling.  A person that thrives on putting deals together and has fun doing them at the same time is a must have attribute.

 
Duties And Responsibilities
  • Achieve or exceeding utilization goals each month from new business development.
  • Meet all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments and interviews as established by management.
  • Plan productive sales calls and communicating Frontera standards which are proven effective and productive.
  • Collaborate with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting.
  • Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects of various solutions.
  • Develop prospect lists and strategies to improve sales efficiencies.
  • Documents a database of qualify leads through referrals, telephone canvassing and networking.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales and follow-up activities.
  • Assist in the training of new sales personnel.
  • Analyze local competitive situation and communicating to management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor Degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5 years in outside healthcare sales experience preferred.
  • Three years selling a service to physicians, hospitals, or alternate site healthcare setting highly desirable.
  • Experience selling a diagnostics service preferred.
  • Strategic thinking, team player
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure to meet competing deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees of organization.
 
Working Environment
  • Duties are performed in both an office and at client’s locations requiring frequent travel by automobile with exposure to changing weather conditions.
  • Position requires frequent walking and standing as well as the ability to constantly communicate verbally by talking.  Daily duties require the frequent use of a computer, I Pad, cell phone and/or other communication devices requiring sitting and using the fingers and hands to feel and grasp.  Position also requires occasional reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching, and the ability to lift, push, and/or move up to 20 pounds.
